Buyer's shortlist — Dubai

The best IT AMC companies in Dubai

Nine providers compared on what they publish rather than what they claim — SLA matrices, real AED pricing, ISO certificates and vendor tiers — plus a straight answer about the one thing we can't offer in the UAE.

What an IT AMC actually is — and how this list was built

An IT Annual Maintenance Contract is the dominant way Dubai businesses buy IT support: a fixed annual or monthly fee covering a defined estate — desktops, servers, network, printers, PABX, sometimes CCTV and access control — with agreed remote and on-site response times instead of per-incident invoices. The term is used far more loosely than it should be. At one end it is genuinely proactive managed IT with monitoring, patching and reporting. At the other it is break-fix with a subscription wrapper: nobody watches anything until you call. The difference is not visible in the marketing, only in the contract.

So this list ranks providers on evidence rather than adjectives. Every claim below was checked on the provider's own website. Four things earn a place: a published SLA matrix with numeric response targets by severity; published or indicative pricing, which almost nobody in this market offers; verifiable certifications and vendor partner tiers, meaning ISO certificates and named partner levels rather than logos; and honest scope, since a hardware-first AMC and a cloud-and-security managed service are different purchases at similar prices. Where a provider does not publish something, we say so — that gap is your first negotiation point, not a black mark.

One structural note. Dubai's AMC market is unusually competitive, and that has pushed a handful of providers to publish what their peers keep behind a sales call — full SLA matrices, per-user monthly rates, ISO certificate numbers. Those providers are easier to hold to account, which is reflected in how they rank here. It does not automatically make them better engineers; it does mean you will know in week one whether you got what you paid for.

The providers — and what each is genuinely best at

GEEKS — compliance-sensitive businesses

The strongest published credentials here. Its certifications page names ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 20000-1:2018, Microsoft Solution Partner for Security and for Modern Work, Acronis Platinum Service Provider, Huawei Authorized Enterprise Partner, Cisco Partner and Schneider Electric Select Partner. Its Dubai AMC page states an average response under 30 minutes and on-site dispatch within 2 hours anywhere in Dubai. Best for finance, legal, healthcare and anyone whose own auditors ask about suppliers.

Bluechip Gulf — multi-vendor estates

Publishes a full SLA matrix: critical (P1) immediate remote and on-site response, high (P2) 15–30 minutes remote and 4–6 hours on-site, medium 30–45 minutes remote and within 8 hours on-site, with 24/7 helpdesk access. Names Dell Technologies Gold Partner, 3CX Platinum, Sophos Platinum, Microsoft Solutions Partner and Cisco Partner Select, from a Dubai office on Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road. Best when one contract has to cover a mixed hardware, firewall and telephony estate.

GS-IT — the fastest published response targets

States it has operated since 2013 with 150+ active AMC clients, 30+ certified engineers and a maintained 99.9% uptime SLA. Its response matrix is the most aggressive published here: critical 0–5 minutes remote and 30 minutes to 1 hour on-site; medium 15–30 minutes remote, 2–3 hours on-site. It says plainly that it does not publish fixed list prices because every estate differs. Best when downtime cost is high and you want the response target in writing.

Dubaitech — budget certainty for a small office

The only provider here publishing real monthly prices: Essential AMC at AED 1,299/mo for up to 10 users, Business AMC at AED 3,499/mo for up to 25 users, and Enterprise AMC 24/7 at AED 7,999/mo for up to 50 users, all on a 12-month minimum, with Dubai and Sharjah covered without travel charges and other emirates billed for travel. Best when you need a defensible number for a budget before you start a procurement process.

Xedos — small offices with mixed peripherals

Publishes an SLA matrix — high priority immediate remote and on-site, medium 15–30 minutes remote and 4–6 hours on-site, low 30–45 minutes and within 12 hours — plus an entry plan it advertises from AED 299, from an office in Al Garhoud. Scope explicitly includes printers, peripherals, PABX and email hosting alongside servers and network. Best for a small Dubai office with a lot of miscellaneous hardware and a modest budget.

Logixer — sizing a budget before an RFP

Publishes indicative monthly ranges rather than fixed plans: roughly AED 500 to AED 2,500 for 5–25 users and AED 2,500 to AED 10,000 for 25–100 users, with larger estates priced to scope, from an office at the Grandstand in Nad Al Sheba. Response times are stated to depend on the package and SLA rather than being fixed publicly. Best for working out what your estate should cost before you brief anyone.

Real Secure — security-weighted AMC

Names ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 on its IT AMC page, operating from Suntech Tower in Dubai Silicon Oasis. Scope covers workstations, servers, network and Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365 user support, backup monitoring, firewall coordination and on-site support when required. It states response times depend on the agreed scope and priority rather than publishing a matrix, so agree those numbers before signing. Best when the AMC has to carry real security weight.

SK Technology — AMC alongside ERP work

Operates from the Dubai National Insurance building in Deira and covers managed IT, managed cloud and managed security alongside Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Oracle work, plus a substantial Odoo consulting and implementation practice. No pricing, SLA matrix or certifications appear on its IT services page, so ask for all three. Best when your support contract needs to sit next to an ERP programme with one accountable partner.

Techies — cloud, Zoho and security operations, remotely

We are on this list for one specific job: running cloud, identity, business applications and security operations for UAE companies whose estate lives in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure and Zoho. We are a Zoho implementation partner and work in Arabic and English. We have a Dubai office but no field engineering team — see the next section, because that distinction matters more than anything else we could say here.

The honest part: we have a Dubai office, not a field team

Techies has a Dubai office at Standard Chartered Tower, Al Safa Street, Downtown Dubai, alongside offices in Riyadh and Tbilisi, a delivery team in Batumi and a US entity in Sheridan, Wyoming. What we do not run is a field engineering team in the Emirates. That is a real limitation, and you would find it out in about ten minutes, so there is no sense in burying it. If you need an engineer physically at your desk within four hours, scheduled preventive-maintenance visits, hands on failed hardware, or cabling and PABX work, choose one of the eight providers above — several publish exactly the on-site targets you should hold them to.

Where we are genuinely the right partner for a UAE business is the part of the estate that has no physical presence anyway: cloud platforms, identity and access management, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, AWS and Azure operations, Zoho implementation and support, security monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, and the business applications your teams work in all day. None of that improves because someone drove to your office. Plenty of Dubai companies run a hardware AMC locally and a separate cloud and applications partner, and that split is often cheaper and better than forcing one supplier to be excellent at both. We are a strong candidate for the second half.

What to demand before you sign an AMC

Get five things in writing. First, the SLA matrix: severity definitions, separate remote and on-site targets, and what happens when a target is missed. Second, the asset schedule — the exact devices covered, because AMC disputes are almost always about whether something was in scope. Third, what is excluded: spare parts, consumables, out-of-hours calls, project work, emirates outside Dubai. Fourth, the certificates themselves with scope and expiry, not logos on a homepage. Fifth, the exit terms, covering documentation, admin credentials and transition help. Then give every bidder the same device count and the same scope, and compare total annual cost rather than headline monthly price.

Frequently asked questions

What is an IT AMC, and how is it different from managed IT services?
An AMC is a fixed-fee contract covering maintenance and support for a defined list of devices over a year, traditionally reactive and hardware-centred with scheduled preventive visits. Managed IT services are continuous and proactive: monitoring, patching, security and reporting run whether or not you raise a ticket. In Dubai the two labels have largely merged and many AMCs now include monitoring and patching — but not all do. The test is simple: ask whether anyone is watching your systems when you have not called, and ask for the monthly report that proves it.
How much should an IT AMC cost in Dubai?
Very few providers publish rates, but the ones that do give useful anchors. Dubaitech publishes AED 1,299 per month for up to 10 users, AED 3,499 for up to 25 and AED 7,999 for a 24/7 enterprise plan up to 50. Logixer publishes indicative ranges of roughly AED 500–2,500 monthly for 5–25 users and AED 2,500–10,000 for 25–100. Xedos advertises an entry plan from AED 299. Use those as a sanity check, then compare like for like on scope, response targets and exclusions rather than on headline price.
What should an AMC actually cover?
A well-scoped Dubai AMC typically covers desktops and laptops, servers, switches, routers, firewalls and Wi-Fi, printers and peripherals, PABX or VoIP telephony, Microsoft 365 user administration, backup verification, endpoint protection and patching, with remote support and defined on-site visits. Some extend to CCTV, access control and cabling. What matters more than the list is the asset schedule attached to the contract, because that document, not the brochure, decides what is covered.
What response time should I expect?
Published targets on this list range widely. GS-IT publishes 0–5 minutes remote and 30 minutes to 1 hour on-site for critical issues. Bluechip Gulf publishes immediate response for P1, then 15–30 minutes remote and 4–6 hours on-site for P2. GEEKS states an average response under 30 minutes with on-site dispatch within 2 hours anywhere in Dubai. Xedos publishes immediate response for high priority. Those are the numbers to benchmark against, and any provider unwilling to commit to a number is telling you something useful.
Do I need on-site support, or is remote enough?
It depends entirely on your estate. If you run on-premise servers, physical network hardware, printers, telephony or specialist equipment, you need on-site support and therefore engineers in the UAE — that is not negotiable. If your company is genuinely cloud-first, with laptops, SaaS and no server room, most issues resolve remotely and on-site visits become an occasional convenience. Be honest about which you are: paying for on-site coverage you never use is a common way Dubai companies overspend.
Does an AMC cover hardware replacement?
Usually not, and this is the single most common source of disputes. Most AMCs cover labour, diagnosis, configuration and coordination with the manufacturer, while parts, replacement units and consumables are billed separately or run through the vendor warranty. Some providers offer buffer stock or loan devices as a paid add-on. Ask explicitly what happens when a server disk or a switch fails at 2am: who supplies the part, who pays for it, how quickly it arrives, and whether a temporary replacement is provided while you wait.
Which emirates does a Dubai AMC cover?
Check this before signing if you have more than one site. Dubaitech, for example, publishes that Dubai and Sharjah are covered without travel charges while Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain incur travel fees based on distance. Other providers price per site or per visit. If you have a head office in Dubai and a warehouse in Jebel Ali or a branch in Abu Dhabi, get the coverage and travel terms for every location written into the contract rather than assumed.
Should I choose an ISO-certified provider?
It is a strong signal, particularly for regulated or data-sensitive businesses. ISO 27001 indicates a documented information-security management system that has been externally audited; ISO 20000-1 covers IT service management specifically, which is directly relevant to how an AMC is actually run. On this list GEEKS names ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 20000-1:2018, and Real Secure names ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Ask for the certificate itself and check the scope and expiry date, since certification can cover a narrower part of the business than the marketing implies.
Can a provider without an on-site engineering team support my Dubai business?
For part of your estate, yes. Cloud platforms, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, AWS and Azure operations, business applications, security monitoring and backup are all delivered remotely by definition, and many Dubai companies run exactly this split — a local provider for hardware and on-site work, a specialist partner for cloud and applications. What a remote provider cannot do is put an engineer in your office, hold spare parts locally or attend a site meeting. We fall in that second category: no field engineers, strong on the cloud and applications half.
