IT AMC

An IT AMC for the half of your estate that has no hardware

Annual Maintenance Contract is the default shape for IT support in the UAE. Most of them are built around on-site engineers and spare parts. Ours covers cloud, identity, business applications and security operations — and we are explicit about the part it does not cover.

What an AMC usually means here, and where we fit

In the UAE, IT support is bought as an Annual Maintenance Contract far more often than as anything else. The shape is well established: a fixed annual or monthly fee, a defined response time, a certain number of on-site visits, and a rate card for whatever falls outside it. Ask five Dubai providers for an AMC and you will get five documents with roughly that structure.

Most of those contracts are anchored in hardware. Desktops, servers, printers, cabling, the switch in the comms room. That work is real, it needs someone in the building, and a provider with a van and a stocked shelf will always do it better than a provider without one.

We are not that provider, and this page exists to say so before you spend a call finding out. We have a Dubai office; we do not run a field engineering team in the Emirates. If your requirement is an engineer at a desk within four hours, scheduled preventive-maintenance visits, or hands on failed hardware, engage a local hardware AMC — several publish exactly the on-site targets you should hold them to.

What we do cover is the part of a modern estate that has no physical presence anyway, and which most hardware-led AMCs treat as an afterthought.

What our AMC covers

Cloud and infrastructure operations

Servers and workloads on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud — provisioned, patched, monitored and reviewed, with UAE regions where data-residency rules require them.

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Tenant administration, licensing hygiene, mail flow, sharing policy and the recurring cleanup that keeps a workspace from quietly becoming an open share.

Identity and access management

Joiners, movers and leavers actually executed, MFA enforced, and least-privilege applied — the controls that decide whether an incident is a nuisance or a disclosure.

Security monitoring and response

Logging, alerting and a defined path from alert to action, with the evidence trail that a UAE due-diligence or audit conversation will ask for.

Backup and disaster recovery

Backups configured, verified by restore rather than by a green tick, and a recovery plan that has been tested against a stated recovery objective.

Business applications

Zoho, and the finance, CRM and HR systems your teams work in all day. We are a Zoho implementation partner, so this is not a category we subcontract.

Service desk in Arabic and English

A named route to a human during Gulf business hours, bilingual, with the ticket history that tells you where time is actually going.

Reporting you can take to a board

Monthly reporting on what happened, what changed and what is at risk — rather than a ticket count that answers nothing.

What this costs, and why nobody will tell you

IT AMC pricing in the UAE is unusually hard to research because most providers do not publish a rate card at all. From the ones that do, published packages start near AED 1,299 per month for a small user count, with tiers rising through roughly AED 3,499 and AED 7,999 as headcount and coverage grow, and additional users charged per seat beyond each tier's limit. Broader market analysis puts typical spend somewhere between AED 1,000 and AED 20,000 per month depending on size, sites and how much security is genuinely included.

Those figures describe the market, not our rate card. We scope before quoting, because the honest answer depends on your user count, how many systems are in scope, what your recovery objective is, and whether you need coverage outside business hours — and a number published without those is a number that changes on the first call.

What we can tell you is where the saving comes from. You are not paying towards a field operation: no vehicle fleet, no travel-at-cost line, no on-site visit allowance you may not use. In exchange you give up the engineer at your desk within the hour. For an estate that is mostly cloud and applications, that trade is usually the right way round — and plenty of UAE companies run a local hardware AMC alongside a specialist cloud partner rather than forcing one supplier to be good at both.

The number, rather than another explanation of why it is hard

Our AMC starts at AED 3,700 per month. The section above explains why so few providers publish anything; publishing a floor is the answer to that rather than an exception to it.

At the floor you get the software half of an AMC done properly for a small estate: monitoring, patching, endpoint protection, identity and access, cloud and Microsoft 365 administration, and backup checked by restoring it. Hardware maintenance, on-site cover and multi-site work are scoped on top, because those are where AMC quotes genuinely diverge.

It is a starting point on a defined scope, not a package you are talked out of later. If your estate is larger or needs 24/7 cover, the number goes up and we will show you which line moved it.

Frequently asked questions

Do you send engineers on site in Dubai?
No. We have a Dubai office but no field engineering team in the Emirates, and we will not pretend otherwise. Where physical work is needed we scope it, brief your facilities team or a local hardware supplier, verify the result, and stay accountable for the outcome — but the hands are not ours.
Can we run your AMC alongside a local hardware AMC?
Yes, and it is the most common arrangement for the companies we suit. A local provider handles desktops, cabling and anything needing a van; we handle cloud, identity, applications and security. The split is usually cheaper than one supplier priced to cover both.
What response times do you commit to?
Response targets are agreed in the contract and vary by severity and by whether you buy business-hours or extended coverage. We will not publish a single number here, because a response target that is not tied to a severity definition is marketing rather than a commitment.
Is an AMC the same as managed services?
In practice, in the UAE, largely yes — AMC is the commercial wrapper the market is used to buying. The difference worth caring about is scope: many AMCs are reactive and hardware-led, while a managed service is proactive and estate-wide. Read what is in scope rather than the label on the cover.
How does UAE data protection affect the contract?
The UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, has been in effect since 2 January 2022, overseen by the UAE Data Office. Free zones such as DIFC and ADGM operate their own regimes, so the first thing to establish is which one governs your entity. It changes where data may sit, who may export it, and what you have to be able to evidence.
What happens at renewal?
You get the year's reporting and a scope review before the renewal date, not with the invoice. If the estate has shrunk, the contract should shrink with it — an AMC that only ever goes up is a sign nobody is reading it.
Do you cover Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?
Yes, on the same remote-first basis as Dubai. Nothing in the covered scope depends on which emirate you are in, and nothing outside it becomes available because you are closer to our office.

Want an AMC scoped honestly?

Tell us what is in your estate, how much of it is cloud, and what you already have covered locally. You will get a scope and a price, and a clear line around what we are not the right supplier for.
