Managed Services
Your IT, fully managed
We run your infrastructure, cloud, and security so your team can focus on the business. Proactive monitoring, fast support, and SLAs you can hold us to.
Talk to usOne accountable partner for day-to-day operations
Most growing companies don't need a bigger IT team — they need their systems to simply work, securely and predictably. As a business scales, the day-to-day load of keeping servers patched, clouds optimised, endpoints secured, and users unblocked grows faster than any single hire can absorb. Managed services hand that operational load to a partner who watches your environment around the clock, fixes issues before they reach your users, and reports on exactly what's happening.
Techies operates your infrastructure as an extension of your team: cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, backups, and the security controls that protect all of it. You get senior engineers, documented runbooks, and a single point of accountability instead of a patchwork of vendors who each point at one another when something breaks. When a problem crosses from the network into the application or from the cloud into compliance, one team owns it end to end.
The result is a quieter, more predictable IT operation. Outages become rare and short. Routine work — patching, backups, certificate renewals, capacity planning — happens on a schedule instead of in a panic. And because everything is documented, your business is never hostage to one person's knowledge or one vendor's availability.
How we work with you
Every engagement starts with a discovery and onboarding phase. We map what you run today — clouds, applications, networks, identities, backups, and the security posture around them — and document it so there are no blind spots. From that baseline we agree which services we take on, which you keep, and how we hand work back and forth at the boundaries.
Once we're live, the work splits into two rhythms. The first is reactive: when something breaks or a user raises a ticket, our team responds inside agreed SLAs, triages by severity, and resolves it with a clear record of what happened. The second is proactive: we tune cloud spend, apply patches in maintenance windows, test your backups, rehearse recovery, and harden security continuously — the work that quietly prevents tomorrow's incident.
You stay in control throughout. A named service lead is your single point of contact, you see every change before it ships to production, and a regular service review keeps priorities, spend, and roadmap aligned. We are an extension of your team, not a black box you hand the keys to and hope for the best.
What we manage
Managed cloud
Provisioning, cost control, and uptime for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. We right-size resources, tag and track spend, and tune performance so you pay for what you need and nothing you don't.
Security & SOC
Continuous monitoring, threat detection, patching, and incident response aligned with your compliance needs. Our analysts watch for suspicious activity and contain threats before they spread across your estate.
Managed DevOps
CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and release automation kept healthy and observable. We make deployments routine and reversible so your developers ship faster with less risk.
Helpdesk & support
Responsive support for your team with clear SLAs and real humans, not ticket black holes. Common requests are resolved fast, and harder issues escalate to the right specialist without you chasing.
Backup & disaster recovery
Tested backups and recovery plans so an outage is an inconvenience, not a crisis. We verify restores regularly and rehearse failover so recovery is proven, not hoped for.
Monitoring & observability
Dashboards and alerting that catch problems early and prove your SLAs are met. Metrics, logs, and traces give us — and you — a shared, honest view of system health.
Network & connectivity
Firewalls, VPNs, and the links that hold your offices, data centres, and clouds together. We keep traffic flowing securely and step in fast when connectivity degrades.
Identity & access
Single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and least-privilege access across your tools. Joiners, movers, and leavers are handled cleanly so the right people have the right access and nobody keeps it after they leave.
Who managed services are for
Managed services fit best when technology is essential to your business but running it is not the business itself. Fast-growing companies use us to add senior capability without the cost and delay of building an internal team. Established firms use us to professionalise an environment that grew organically and now needs discipline, documentation, and round-the-clock cover. Lean teams use us to stop firefighting and get their engineers back onto the work that actually moves the company forward.
Across all of them the outcome is the same: fewer surprises, lower risk, and a clear line of accountability. Instead of wondering whether backups ran, whether that patch was applied, or who to call at 2 a.m., you have a partner whose job is to know — and to prove it in writing every month. That predictability is what lets leadership plan, budget, and grow without their infrastructure becoming the bottleneck.
SLAs and reporting you can act on
A managed service is only as good as the commitments behind it. We agree service-level targets up front — response and resolution times by severity, uptime objectives, and the cadence of patching and reviews — and we measure ourselves against them. Severity levels are defined in plain language so everyone knows what counts as critical and what can wait for business hours.
Every month you receive a clear report: incidents and how we handled them, SLA performance against target, cloud spend and where it went, security events and patch status, and the improvements we're recommending next. Nothing is hidden in a dashboard you never open. The service review turns that report into decisions — what to invest in, what to retire, and where the next risk is hiding.
Our response targets
| Severity | What it means | Response target | On-site target |
|---|---|---|---|
| P1 — Critical | Business stopped. No workaround. Multiple users or a revenue-facing system down. | 15 minutes | 4 hours |
| P2 — High | A major function is down or degraded, but a workaround exists. | 1 hour | Next business day |
| P3 — Medium | A single user, or a non-critical function. | 4 business hours | Scheduled |
| P4 — Low | A request, a change, or a question. Nothing is broken. | 1 business day | Scheduled |
Response target is time to a named engineer working the ticket, not an automated acknowledgement. On-site targets apply where we have engineers in the country; where we do not, the page says so and the on-site column is met by a briefed local provider. Targets are confirmed in the contract against these severity definitions — a response time with no severity definition attached is a marketing number.
Frequently asked questions
- How is this different from hiring an internal IT team?
- You get a full team of specialists — cloud, security, DevOps, and support — for less than the cost of a couple of senior hires, with no recruitment, ramp-up, or single-person risk. When someone is on leave or leaves the company, your coverage and your documented knowledge stay intact.
- Do you work with our existing cloud and tools?
- Yes. We manage what you already run (AWS, Azure, GCP, your monitoring and ticketing stack) and recommend changes only where they clearly help. We're not here to rip and replace a working setup — we're here to run it well and improve it deliberately.
- What do the SLAs cover?
- Response and resolution times by severity, uptime targets, and reporting cadence — all agreed up front and reviewed with you regularly. We define severity levels in plain language so there's never a debate about whether something counts as critical when it matters most.
- Can we start small?
- Most clients begin with monitoring and support, then expand into cloud, security, and DevOps as trust builds. Starting with one service lets you see how we work before handing over more, and there's no penalty for scaling at your own pace.
- Who owns our data and accounts?
- You do, always. We operate inside your cloud and tenant accounts under access we can audit, and if we ever part ways you keep everything — accounts, data, documentation, and runbooks — with a clean handover. There's no lock-in by design.
- How fast do you respond when something breaks?
- Critical alerts are acknowledged in under 15 minutes, 24/7, and triaged immediately by severity. Lower-priority requests follow agreed SLA windows. Every incident is logged with what happened, what we did, and how we'll stop it recurring.
- How do you keep our environment secure?
- Continuous monitoring and threat detection, disciplined patching, least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, and tested backups form the baseline. We align controls to your compliance obligations and report on security posture every month so it never drifts quietly.
- How is pricing structured?
- Pricing is based on the scope you choose and the size of your environment, agreed as a predictable monthly fee rather than surprise hourly bills. We map the plan to your needs up front so you can budget with confidence and scale the scope up or down as the business changes.
- What happens during onboarding?
- We run a discovery phase to document your clouds, applications, networks, identities, and backups, agree the boundaries of what we manage, and set up monitoring and access. Within the first weeks you have a documented baseline, defined SLAs, and a named service lead as your single point of contact.
