One IT partner for a market that never slows down

IT services in the UAE cover the full lifecycle of business technology: the managed IT support that keeps people working, the cloud and infrastructure underneath it, the security and data-protection controls that keep it defensible, and the custom software a company builds to run its own operations. Very few organisations in the Emirates need only one of those. A trading group in Dubai, a professional-services firm in Abu Dhabi, and a manufacturer in Sharjah all end up managing devices, identities, cloud spend, backups, vendor contracts, and at least one system nobody else knows how to maintain. The UAE's business environment adds its own layers — mainland companies and free-zone entities inside the same group, multinational parent companies with their own audit expectations, and a federal data-protection regime that has been in force since 2022. Techies brings the build side and the run side together, so your technology is the responsibility of one accountable IT company rather than a stack of disconnected suppliers.

We deliver managed IT services in the UAE for organisations that want their technology to be somebody's clear responsibility. In practice that means proactive monitoring instead of waiting for a complaint, a helpdesk your staff can actually reach, patching and identity hygiene handled on a schedule, cloud environments that are sized and costed deliberately, and backups that have been tested rather than assumed. Every engagement runs under agreed service levels, with reporting you can put in front of a board or a regional parent company. We work in Arabic and English, so mixed teams receive documentation, runbooks, and updates in whichever language they prefer, and executives get summaries they do not have to translate. Where you already have an internal IT lead, we sit alongside them and take the layers they would rather not own. Where you do not have one, we become that function.

What makes IT support in the UAE distinctive is density and pace. A single mid-sized group can hold a mainland trade licence, an entity in a free zone such as DMCC or JAFZA, a regional sales office, and a warehouse — each with different systems, different connectivity, and often different people who set them up years ago. Growth happens quickly, turnover in technical roles is high, and the customers and partners those companies sell to increasingly ask security questions before they sign anything. That combination punishes improvisation. It rewards an IT company that documents what exists, standardises where standardisation actually pays, keeps a live inventory of users and devices, and can describe the true state of your environment on a Monday morning without a week of archaeology first.

Data protection is where UAE technology decisions become legal decisions. The UAE Personal Data Protection Law — Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 — has been in effect since 2 January 2022, and the UAE Data Office, established under Federal Decree-Law No. 44 of 2021, is the national body overseeing it. The law does not cover everything, however. Government data and public entities sit outside it; health and credit data governed by their own legislation sit outside it; and free zones that have enacted their own data protection regimes — the DIFC being the named example — apply their own rules instead. In practice the first question is rarely “are we compliant?” but “which regime actually applies to this entity, this system, and this dataset?” We help you answer that before we design anything, then build the data handling, access controls, retention, and evidence to match, so one group can operate a mainland entity and a free-zone entity without pretending both are governed identically.

We work across the sectors that drive the Emirates' economy. Trade, shipping, and logistics businesses need resilient operations spanning offices, ports, and warehouses, plus integrations that keep orders and stock accurate in real time. Financial-services and fintech firms, particularly those operating in the DIFC or ADGM, need tight access control, thorough logging, and an evidence trail that survives due diligence. Retail and e-commerce operators need platforms and infrastructure that stay fast through Ramadan, Eid, and the shopping-festival peaks. Real-estate and property-management companies need dependable systems across a portfolio of buildings, agents, and tenants. Hospitality and tourism operators need round-the-clock uptime because their guests do not observe office hours. Professional-services firms need confidentiality, clean device management, and collaboration tools built for a highly mobile workforce. Underneath the sector differences the requirement is identical: build the right thing, run it dependably, and be able to prove it is under control.

Engaging us is straightforward. We start with a short discovery to map what you run today, what you are building next, where the real risk sits, and which entities and rules are in play. We come back with a scoped proposal: the mix of build and run services, clear service levels, and pricing you can plan around. Then we put the foundations in first — monitoring, secure identity, tested backups, and documentation — before the engagement scales up. A group with a head office in Dubai, a branch in Abu Dhabi, and a facility in Sharjah is treated as one engagement with one set of standards and one consolidated report, not three disconnected arrangements. Where a task genuinely needs hands on hardware, we coordinate it with your facilities team or a local supplier, brief them properly, and stay accountable for the outcome. You always know who owns what, and you always have one number to call.

Frequently asked questions

What IT services do you provide in the UAE?
We cover managed IT services, helpdesk and end-user support, cloud infrastructure and cost management, cybersecurity monitoring and hardening, backup and disaster recovery, data-protection readiness, and custom web and mobile software development. Most UAE clients use a combination — managed IT and cloud together, for example, or a custom platform we build and then continue to run under an ongoing service agreement.
Do you work with companies in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah?
Yes. We support organisations across the Emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah, as well as free-zone entities. A group with a head office in one emirate and branches, warehouses, or retail sites in others is handled as a single engagement, with consistent service levels and one consolidated report covering every location.
Can you support our team in Arabic?
Yes. Our teams work in Arabic and English, so your staff can raise tickets, take calls, and read documentation in whichever language they prefer. Runbooks, reports, and executive summaries can be delivered bilingually, which matters for UAE organisations whose leadership, finance, and operations teams do not all work in the same language day to day.
How does the UAE Personal Data Protection Law affect our IT setup?
The UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, has been in effect since 2 January 2022, and the UAE Data Office, established under Federal Decree-Law No. 44 of 2021, is the national body overseeing it. Practically, it shapes how you collect, store, share, and retain personal data, who is allowed to access it, and what you can evidence. We design systems and access controls with those obligations in mind rather than retrofitting them later.
Does the PDPL apply to our free zone company?
Not necessarily. The law does not apply to government data or public entities, to health and credit data governed by separate legislation, or to free zones that have enacted their own data protection regimes — the DIFC is the named example. Entities in free zones such as DMCC, JAFZA, or ADGM should confirm which regime governs them. We establish which rules apply to each entity before designing anything.
Can you provide on-site support in the UAE?
We do not staff on-site engineers in the Emirates. Our support model is remote-first, which covers the large majority of issues — accounts, devices, servers, cloud, applications, networking, and security. When a task genuinely requires hands on hardware, we coordinate it with your facilities team or a local supplier, brief them on exactly what is needed, and remain accountable for the outcome and the follow-up.
Do you build software as well as manage IT?
We do both, and the combination is unusual. We build custom web and mobile platforms to your requirements and integrate them with the systems you already run, and we operate IT and cloud environments day to day under managed-service agreements. Many UAE clients start with one and add the other, because the team that built a system is well placed to keep it running.
How much do managed IT services cost in the UAE?
Managed IT is normally a predictable monthly fee scoped to your environment: the number of users and devices, the systems that matter most, and the coverage level you need. Build projects are scoped and quoted separately up front. After a short discovery you receive a clear plan and pricing, with no surprise hourly invoices for routine support requests.
Can you work alongside our existing IT team and vendors?
Yes. We complement an internal team rather than replace it, taking ownership of the layers you hand us and leaving the rest with your people. We integrate with the providers, licences, and tools you already have, and act as a single accountable point of contact so responsibility never falls between suppliers when something breaks.
How quickly can you take over our IT?
Discovery usually takes a couple of weeks: we document users, devices, servers, cloud accounts, licences, and the systems the business cannot afford to lose. Monitoring, secure access, and backup verification go in first, followed by the highest-risk gaps. You get a responsive point of contact from the start rather than waiting for a full transition to complete.
